How were the pyramids of Egypt built?

To build something this BIG, the ancient Egyptians used some super clever physics! First, workers at the Limestone Quarry used copper tools to cut out massive blocks of stone from the earth. They loaded those two-point-five TON blocks onto Wooden Sleds because wheels would just sink into the desert floor. To make the heavy sleds glide easily, they poured water onto Wet Sand, which reduces friction so the sleds can slide without gettin' stuck. For stones comin' from far away, they used the Nile River to float the blocks on sturdy reed boats. Then, they built huge Dirt Ramps that spiraled up the pyramid, lettin' teams pull the stones higher and higher. They covered the outside with polished white Casing Stones to make the whole structure shine in the sun.
